It does not invent digits. You choose the service you need a code from and a country, and it lists the countries with real numbers in stock for that service, with the price. Once you buy, the number is issued to you alone and its SMS codes appear in your account.
Is this a fake phone number generator?
No. A fake number generator makes numbers in the right format that belong to nobody or to a stranger: they pass a form's check but never receive a code. If a correctly formatted sample for testing a form is all you need, use our random phone number generator, which makes them for every country and labels them as samples.
What a temporary number can and cannot do
- It can: Receive SMS codes and calls for 28 days, for one sign-up or for the whole term, and renew from your balance while auto-renew is on.
- It cannot: Send SMS or place calls, make a service accept it (each service decides which numbers it takes), or be refunded once it is issued.
Why a code sometimes does not arrive
- The service refuses the number: Some services reject numbers of certain ranges or countries. Try the number on the service before you buy it.
- The number already has an account there: On Telegram, "code sent to another device" means the number is registered already; pick another one.
- Too many requests: Services slow down repeated code requests. Wait a few minutes before asking again.
- The wrong country code: The country chosen on the service's form must match the number's country.
