Service Overview
SMS Activate App provides access to virtual mobile and local phone numbers from various countries, rented for the purpose of receiving SMS messages and voice-call records. The service offers a convenient way to verify online profiles and protect your personal phone number. SMS Activate App is an independent technology provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform on which you may choose to use a number.
Eligibility and Account
Age and Capacity
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use SMS Activate App. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you will use the service only where it is lawful for you to do so.
Your Account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for providing accurate information. You may not resell, abuse, or use the service to circumvent these terms or the rules of any third party.
Renting Numbers
Private Use
Every number rented through SMS Activate App is assigned exclusively to you for the duration of the rental period. Numbers are not shared between users while a rental is active.
Rental Periods
Numbers are rented for a minimum of 28 days, with the option to extend the rental for any required period. The rental renews automatically every 28 days unless auto-renewal is disabled in the number's settings prior to the next billing cycle.
Cost and Billing
Charges for rented numbers are automatically deducted from your account balance every 28 days. You must keep a sufficient balance to avoid losing a number or experiencing service interruptions.
Refund Policy
Rentals Are Final and Non-Refundable
All number rentals are final. Once a number has been issued or activated, the rental fee is non-refundable for any reason. This includes situations where a number does not receive a particular SMS or one-time code (OTP), where a third-party platform rejects, bans, flags, or rate-limits the number, or where the number was already registered on the target platform. You acknowledge that you are paying for access to a rented number for the rental period, not for any guaranteed verification outcome.
Unused Balance Only
Where a refund is granted, it is issued solely from unused, unspent funds remaining on your account balance, meaning money you have topped up but have not yet spent on a rental or other service. Funds already spent on a rental cannot be refunded. Any refund of unused balance is subject to the rules, processing times, and fees of the original payment provider, and cryptocurrency top-ups may be non-reversible.
Verified Technical Failure on Our Side
A credit or refund may be granted only where SMS Activate App fails to deliver the rented service due to a verified technical fault on our own infrastructure. This does not include the behavior, policies, availability, rate-limiting, or rejection decisions of third-party platforms, mobile carriers, or payment providers, all of which are outside our control.
No Refund If an OTP Cannot Be Received
If you rent a number but are unable to receive an SMS or OTP code on it, no refund is due. Some numbers and platforms are incompatible for reasons beyond our control, and it is your responsibility to test a number before relying on it. We recommend following our guide on how to check a number before you buy.
Payments and Balance
Accepted Payments
You can top up your account balance using cryptocurrency or credit and debit cards. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers, whose terms, fees, and processing times apply in addition to these terms.
Account Balance
All transactions on SMS Activate App, including number rentals and automatic renewals, are charged to your account balance. You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient balance to avoid interruptions or the loss of a rented number.
Lawful Funds
You confirm that any funds you use are lawfully obtained and that you are not subject to sanctions or other legal restrictions. We may suspend or close accounts, withhold funds, or decline transactions where we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.
Service Limitations
No OTP Guarantee
SMS Activate App does not guarantee that any rented number will work with a specific online platform for OTP or any other purpose. You are advised to test a number before relying on it.
Platform Compatibility
The ability to receive OTPs or other messages depends on the chosen number, the online platform, the mobile carrier, and other technical factors outside our control. You are responsible for ensuring the selected number meets your needs.
User Responsibility and Compliance
Your Compliance
You are solely responsible for how you use rented numbers. You agree to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of your own country and place of residence, and with the terms of service, rules, and policies of every third-party platform on which you use a number. You alone are responsible for determining whether your use is lawful and permitted where you are located.
Sole Responsibility
SMS Activate App provides a neutral technical tool and has no knowledge of, and accepts no responsibility for, the accounts you create, the content you send or receive, or the purposes for which you use a number. Any consequences arising from your use, including action taken by a third-party platform, a regulator, or any authority, are your responsibility and not ours.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use SMS Activate App for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose, including spam, phishing, harassment, identity theft, evading platform bans, or any activity prohibited by applicable law or by a third-party platform. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice and without refund, for any actual or suspected violation, and we may comply with lawful requests where we are legally required to do so.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Service Provided "As Is"
SMS Activate App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, delivery of any specific message, or compatibility with any specific platform. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any number will work for your intended purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMS Activate App and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, accounts, or opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific rental that gave rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SMS Activate App, its operators, and partners from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of the rights or policies of any third party.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data Privacy
All data associated with a rented number is private and accessible only to the renter during the active rental period.
Data Deletion
After the rental period ends and the number is deactivated, all associated data is permanently deleted after 30 days. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
Disputes and Governing Law
These terms set out the entire agreement between you and SMS Activate App regarding the service. Any dispute should first be raised directly with our support team, which will work to resolve it in good faith. You agree to pursue any dispute on an individual basis. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent version, and your continued use of SMS Activate App after a change means you accept the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
