Service Overview
SMS Activate App provides access to virtual mobile and local phone numbers from various countries, rented for the purpose of receiving SMS messages and voice-call records. The service offers a convenient way to verify online profiles and protect your personal phone number. SMS Activate App is an independent technology provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform on which you may choose to use a number.
Eligibility and Account
Age and Capacity
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use SMS Activate App. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you will use the service only where it is lawful for you to do so.
Your Account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for providing accurate information. You may resell numbers to your own customers through your account and the API, at your own prices; you remain responsible for how they use them, as if you used them yourself. You may not abuse the service or use it to circumvent these terms or the rules of any third party.
Renting Numbers
Private Use
Every number rented through SMS Activate App is assigned exclusively to you for the duration of the rental period. Numbers are not shared between users while a rental is active.
Rental Periods
Numbers are rented in 28-day periods, and a rental can be extended for as long as you need. With auto-renewal on, the rental renews from your account balance every 28 days; you can turn auto-renewal off on the number's screen before the next period begins.
Cost and Billing
Each renewal is charged to your account balance. If your balance cannot cover the next renewal, we remind you every day during the last 7 days of the period. A number whose rental has ended can be bought back within 7 days; after that it is no longer held for you.
Swedish Numbers and Identity Verification
From 3 December 2026, Swedish numbers work only after the holder passes identity verification, which the number provider requires. Swedish numbers without completed verification will be withdrawn. Verification is started from the number in our Telegram bot @PrivatePhoneBot.
When a Rental Ends
When a rental ends and the number is not bought back within 7 days, it returns to our pool and may later be issued to another user, who will then receive the SMS messages and calls sent to it. Before your rental ends, it is your responsibility to remove the number from every account where you use it, including two-factor authentication and account recovery, or to keep the rental active. We are not responsible for any loss of access to an account, or for messages and codes that reach the next holder of a number you did not keep.
Refund Policy
Rentals Are Final and Non-Refundable
All number rentals are final. Once a number has been issued or activated, the rental fee is non-refundable for any reason. This includes situations where a number does not receive a particular SMS or one-time code (OTP), where a third-party platform rejects, bans, flags, or rate-limits the number, or where the number was already registered on the target platform. You acknowledge that you are paying for access to a rented number for the rental period, not for any guaranteed verification outcome.
Unused Balance Only
Where a refund is granted, it is issued solely from unused, unspent funds remaining on your account balance, meaning money you have topped up but have not yet spent on a rental or other service. Funds already spent on a rental cannot be refunded. A refund of unused balance is paid out as a withdrawal, under the rule in “Withdrawals and Partner Payouts” below.
Verified Technical Failure on Our Side
A credit or refund may be granted only where SMS Activate App fails to deliver the rented service due to a verified technical fault on our own infrastructure. This does not include the behavior, policies, availability, rate-limiting, or rejection decisions of third-party platforms, mobile carriers, or payment providers, all of which are outside our control.
No Refund If an OTP Cannot Be Received
If you rent a number but are unable to receive an SMS or OTP code on it, no refund is due. Some numbers and platforms are incompatible for reasons beyond our control, and it is your responsibility to test a number before relying on it. We recommend following our guide on how to check a number before you buy.
Payments and Balance
Accepted Payments
On the website you can top up your account balance with cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, TON and other coins). In our Telegram bot and its Mini App you can also top up with a bank card in Russian rubles (RUB) or with Telegram Stars; an account linked to the bot has one balance. The methods available to you are shown before you pay and depend on your country. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers, whose terms, fees, and processing times apply in addition to these terms.
Account Balance
All transactions on SMS Activate App, including number rentals and automatic renewals, are charged to your account balance. You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient balance to avoid interruptions or the loss of a rented number.
Withdrawals and Partner Payouts
Money leaves your account balance, including partner commission credited to it, only in USDT on the TRON, BSC or TON network. To withdraw, send a request to support in Telegram (t.me/BestVoipTelegram); the administration processes every request by hand. The minimum withdrawal is $10. The fee is 10% of the amount, but not less than 5 USDT, and it is taken from the amount itself: $20 → 15 USDT, $50 → 45 USDT, $100 → 90 USDT. We pay the blockchain network fee. Spending your balance on numbers and other services carries no fee.
Lawful Funds
You confirm that any funds you use are lawfully obtained and that you are not subject to sanctions or other legal restrictions. We may suspend or close accounts, withhold funds, or decline transactions where we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.
Service Limitations
No OTP Guarantee
SMS Activate App does not guarantee that any rented number will work with a specific online platform for OTP or any other purpose. You are advised to test a number before relying on it.
Platform Compatibility
The ability to receive OTPs or other messages depends on the chosen number, the online platform, the mobile carrier, and other technical factors outside our control. You are responsible for ensuring the selected number meets your needs.
User Responsibility and Compliance
Your Compliance
You are solely responsible for how you use rented numbers. You agree to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of your own country and place of residence, and with the terms of service, rules, and policies of every third-party platform on which you use a number. You alone are responsible for determining whether your use is lawful and permitted where you are located.
Sole Responsibility
SMS Activate App provides a neutral technical tool and has no knowledge of, and accepts no responsibility for, the accounts you create, the content you send or receive, or the purposes for which you use a number. Any consequences arising from your use, including action taken by a third-party platform, a regulator, or any authority, are your responsibility and not ours.
Accounts You Create With a Number
Any account you register, verify or recover with a rented number is yours alone. You are responsible for its security, its recovery options and its compliance with the rules of the platform that hosts it. We do not operate those platforms, cannot restore or unlock accounts on them, and are not a party to your relationship with them.
Your Credentials, Sessions and API Keys
Everything done with your password, a signed-in session, your API keys or the Telegram account linked to your account is treated as done by you. Keep them secret, and tell support at once if you believe one has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by anyone else using your credentials, including the spending of your balance.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use SMS Activate App for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose, including spam, phishing, harassment, identity theft, evading platform bans, or any activity prohibited by applicable law or by a third-party platform. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice and without refund, for any actual or suspected violation, and we may comply with lawful requests where we are legally required to do so.
Third-Party Services
The service depends on third parties we do not control, including telephone carriers and number providers, the online platforms you use numbers with, payment providers and Telegram. Their terms, fees, availability and decisions apply to you in addition to these terms. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, outages, blocks, policy changes, or the loss of any feature they provide.
Suspension and Termination
We may refuse service, withdraw or stop a number, or suspend or close an account at any time, with or without notice, where we consider it necessary to comply with the law or a number provider's requirement, to protect the service, other users or third parties, or because these terms were broken. If an account is closed for a breach, rental fees already paid are not refunded, and we may withhold its balance to cover the losses, fees or claims the breach caused. You may stop using the service at any time; unused balance is handled under "Withdrawals and Partner Payouts".
Messages, Calls and Lawful Requests
SMS messages and calls sent to a rented number are delivered to you automatically. We do not review their content and are not responsible for it, for who sends it, or for what you do with it. We process the technical data needed to deliver them and to run and protect the service, and we may preserve and disclose information where the law requires it or where it is needed to prevent fraud or abuse.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Service Provided "As Is"
SMS Activate App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, delivery of any specific message, or compatibility with any specific platform. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any number will work for your intended purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMS Activate App and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, accounts, or opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific rental that gave rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SMS Activate App, its operators, and partners from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of the rights or policies of any third party.
Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including the failure or blocking of carriers, number providers, platforms, payment providers or networks, actions of authorities, changes in law, attacks on our systems, power or internet outages, and natural events.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data Privacy
All data associated with a rented number is private and accessible only to the renter during the active rental period.
Data Deletion
After the rental period ends and the number is deactivated, all associated data is permanently deleted after 30 days. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
Disputes and Governing Law
These terms set out the entire agreement between you and SMS Activate App regarding the service. Any dispute should first be raised directly with our support team, which will work to resolve it in good faith. You agree to pursue any dispute on an individual basis. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. If we do not enforce a provision, we do not waive it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms; you may not transfer yours without our written consent.
Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms of Service at any time, including to reflect new features, prices, payment methods or legal requirements. A change takes effect when it is published on this page, and the "last updated" date shows the current version. We announce significant changes in our Telegram news channels: t.me/VirtualNumbersForVerification in English and t.me/SmsVerificationService in Russian. If you keep using SMS Activate App after a change, you accept the revised terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
