SMS Delivery Rate: Not Published Yet

We do not publish an SMS delivery rate yet: it is not measured per service. See what we will publish, and how to check a number works for your platform.

Why there is no rate on this page

This page used to show a delivery percentage and an arrival time for eight services. Those were estimates, not measurements, so we removed them.

A delivery rate per service needs to know which platform each number was bought for. Our system does not record that at purchase yet, so a per-service rate cannot be computed honestly.

A rate across all purchases would mislead too: some buyers never request a code, and those purchases would count as failures.

What we will publish

  • For each service: the share of purchases that received that platform's SMS within 20 minutes of purchase.
  • The number of purchases behind each rate, shown beside it, so you can judge how much it says.
  • Only services with at least 30 purchases. Below that, a percentage says more about chance than about delivery.
  • Delivery means the SMS reached your number. A platform can still reject a number for its own reasons, and that is a separate question.

Check a number now

Most codes arrive within a few minutes of the platform sending them. We do not publish a delivery rate yet, so check that a number works for your platform before you rely on it.

What is your SMS delivery success rate?
We do not publish one yet: we have not measured delivery per service. Most codes arrive within a few minutes of the platform sending them; check that a number works for your platform before you rely on it (see /how-to-check-a-number).
When will you publish a delivery rate?
Once our system records which platform each number is bought for, and a service has at least 30 purchases. Each rate will be the share of purchases that received that platform's SMS within 20 minutes, shown with its sample size.
What happens if a code never arrives?
A private number is billed for a full 28-day period and that charge is non-refundable, including if a service never sends a code, so we recommend testing a number before you buy. If a number does not work, you can try a different one.
Does the country matter?
It can. Platforms judge a number partly by its country, and delivery depends on the carrier route. Pick the country the platform expects, and check the number before you rely on it.
Are these numbers real mobile numbers?
Yes: a real mobile or local number from a carrier's range, depending on the country, assigned to you alone, never toll-free and never a shared or recycled free number. Each platform still decides for itself, so test the number there before relying on it.
